How to get here
Bus
When flying to Stockholm Skavsta you will actually land in Nyköping, 100 km south of Stockholm. After every landing there are special busses waiting outside of the terminal to take you to Stockholm Central. The operator is called Flygbussarna. You can buy one-way or return tickets at machines in the luggage collection area or outside in the main hall or at the bus stand. The machine accepts credit cards.
In
Gallivare train station you can take the bus to Porjus, line number 44 or
45 in the direction of Jokkmokk and the trip takes 40 minutes. Ask the driver
to stop for you at the 'Stationshuset Porjus'. If there is no traffic (usually
there isn't) and he will drop you off almost at your front door :-)
You can also take the bus out of Lulea Bus station. Here you need line 44 in the opposite direction to Gallivare. The trip takes around 4 hours and sometimes needs a switch at Jokkmokk on the line 45.
During weekdays there are 5 buses out of Gallivare and 3 out of Lulea. Saturday and sunday there is only one. In the morning from Gallivare, and in the afternoon from Lulea. Check the Lanstrafiken web site for more info. You can buy tickets (no big notes please) at the driver.
