Snowmobile safari
Want
to have a trip deeper into the winter wonderland? The only way to cover
some serious miles is by snowmobile. There are hundreds of miles of marked
snow scooter tracks available. Come across moose or reindeer herds out into
the wild and enjoy a hot drink while being far out into the last wilderness
of Europe. These trips are always accompanied by an experienced guide.

Dog sledding
Take
a big trip without burning fossil fuel? Why not rely on Dog Energy? Travel
how it has been done in the Arctic for hundreds of years. The Siberian husky's
will enthusiastically welcome you as you arrive at the starting point. You
can take a day trip through forests, cross frozen lakes and steer through
large white planes. After an hour or so we will stop and have a hot beverage.
This will be an experience you will never forget!

Icehotel
A
must see for every visitor to Lapland, The Icehotel. This can make a nice
day trip because the Icehotel is 165 km/100 miles away from Porjus so you
can get a look at the Arctic landscape at the same time. You can combine
it with a visit to Kiruna, the mine town of the North.
The Icehotel is a 2 1/2 hour drive to Kiruna. The entrance fee is 325 SEK/€35* You will need a car for it.
You can also take a helicopter flight to the icehotel airport of Kiruna. There is a 4 and 6 seat helicopter and the flight takes 45 minutes.
